Martin Bencher Denmark and USA offices ships a project consisting of app. 15000 FRT breakbulk cargo from Finland and Italy, 140 soc containers, and 12 engines of each 290 tons. The cargo value for these 12 engines is app. EUR 60 million.
The engines were loaded in Trieste, Italy, at Frigomar Terminal last week and are now on route to Port of Isabel, Texas. The cargo is destined for its jobsite in Edinburg, Texas, which is close to the Mexican border.
Delivery terms for the project is DAP jobsite, meaning delivered at place. The project was secured already last year by Martin Bencher, but has been on hold due to a pending environmental permit. This is still pending; however it was decided by our client to have the engines delivered to a storage location at the jobsite for the time being.
The engines and generators will eventually be positioned onto their foundation at the jobsite in Edinburg, Texas.
