Martin Bencher is now a gold sponsor for the charity cyclist team, Team Rynkeby, who bikes to Paris every year for the benefit of children with cancer and their families.
When the biggest charity cyclist team in the Northern European countries heads south for the French capital in the battle against children’s cancer it will be with the support of Martin Bencher.
Martin Bencher has signed a gold sponsorship with Team Rynkeby. The sponsorship is 20,000 DKK with all funds going directly for Børnecancerfonden (Children's Cancer Foundation).
Christina Louise Hansen, Marketing | Communication Manager at Martin Bencher has chosen to bike together with Team Rynkeby in 2017.
- It is a privilege to be able to support children in need by biking together with Team Rynkeby to Paris this coming Summer. I look very much forward to raising funds for Børnecancerfonden through various events and sponsorships. With the generous donation from Martin Bencher, me and my team are well on the way in raising even more funds than last season, says Christina Louise Hansen.
100 percent for children with cancer
2017 will be the 16th Tour de France for Team Rynkeby. The project consists of around 1,700 cyclists and 450 helpers from 44 different teams spread across 6 countries: Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Faroe Islands, and Iceland.
- The majority of the funds that are raised will go straight to financing research in child cancer. Child cancer is still the illness that kills most children of 1-15 years of age. Additionally, there is still too many children who experience side effects from the treatment. These are the reason why we need to research this topic in depth, says Carl Erik Dalbøge. Team Director of Team Rynkeby.
In 2016 Team Rynkeby raised 65.8 mio DKK for Børnecancerfonden in Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway and the Faroe Islands.
